Extreme Makeover: Terrier Edition

Yup, after months of inexcusable shagginess, Ronan visited the salon yesterday. Underneath all the fur we were shocked to discover a terrier.

They may have largely defoliated him, but the attitude remains unshorn….

  1. Awww, my mom just shaved down Max with similar results (though he’s only part terrier). You have to admit, though, the shagginess is cute (albeit it does destroy vacuum cleaners, as my mother has attested).

  2. No, it doesn’t. Max always feels better after he loses his hair for the summer months. And it always grows back for winter, just in time to serve as a warm coat perfect for romping in the snow. And it also gives my mother’s rugs, couch, towels, anything that his hair gets on, a reprieve. 🙂

  3. Oh, agreed. You could brush Max 5 times a day and it still wouldn’t be enough. And, of course, like a little kid he would run away from the brush because he would always have knots (no matter how much you brush him!), and he would never let you get at the knots, turning them into matts …
… of course, I know you know all of this already, obviously!
